Simple self catering chalet accommodation on the doorstep of the Brevent lift
This hostel is located next to the Brevent cable car, 5 minutes walk from the Tourist Office, “La Maison de la Montage” and the main shopping area of Chamonix. An ideal spot for getting the first lifts whether it be for skiing in the winter or mountain biking in the summer.
In the spirit of mountain refuges, the chalet has rooms with 4 – 7 beds. Linen is not included and can be rented for a minimal cost. Alternatively you can bring your own sleeping bag and/or linen.
Guests can use the large kitchen to prepare their meals and their is also a dining room where you can enjoy your meals. Guests are welcome to bring any of their own cooking equipment with them.
This is a social/family feel chalet and the owners are happy to look after any items and/or take any messages for you whilst you are enjoying yourself on the mountain.
Chalet Ski Station is equipped with free WiFi which is accessible in all of the public areas and some bedrooms.

The forest of the Brevent serves as the Chalet's back yard, with large fir trees and raspberry bushes just outside the door. Generations of climbers and skiers from all over the world have stayed here, some of whom are now written about in mountaineering books and others simply spent a memorable holiday in a friendly and sporting atmosphere.
Ski STation is really easy to find. From the tourist office roundabout, simply head up the hill towards the bottom of the Brevent cable car and turn left at the top. The chalet is just a few metres up on the right hand side.

Les Bossons is a sleepy little village just a five-minute drive from the centre Chamonix on the road to Les Houches. It is fairly spread out and consists mainly of chalet-style properties and is popular with families due to its school.
Les Houches is one of the largest towns in the Chamonix Valley, spreading over 8km from Vaudagne and the Col de Voza at one end, towards the bottom of the Taconnaz glacier and the Merlet Animal park at the other.
Argentière is a picturesque village within the Chamonix Valley and is just a short 10-minute car journey from Chamonix town. This charming village has been less affected by wealthy tourists and ex-patriots from various countries who have chosen to make their living in the mountains. It therefore retains a lot of authentic French charm and has a beautiful unspoilt high street with patisseries, boulangeries and wine bars.
Le Tour is a small, quaint little village at the far end of the Chamonix Valley in the Domaine de la Balme area. Take a stroll around the back streets to see some of the classically Alpine-style houses and the church dome. Look up to see the glaciers reaching down towards you, which are really impressive even in the height of summer.
