This is one of the simplest refuges to access, being just a few minutes walk from the Charamillon gondola at Le Tour. This refuge is for those that would like a secluded get away spot where they can explore the mountains but can still get back to civilization in a heartbeat.

A refuge mainly used for those wishing to ascent Mont Buet. The hut is open all year around, however, it is only staffed during the summer period from early June to late September.

This shelter is easily accessible via the Montenvers train link. Perched on a ledge along the Mer de Glace route, it has some spectacular views of the Mont Blanc Massif which can be enjoyed from their terrace.

Gervasutti refuge (2835m), Massif du Mont-Blanc

The Gervasutti refuge situated above the Freboudze glacier sleeps up to 12 mountaineers at a time and is equipped with bunk beds, kitchen facilities, dining area, storage racks and a room with a view.

Situated just beneath the Glacier du Tour the Albert 1er provides superb access for both skiers and hikers to the glacier or the neighbouring summits of Aiguille du Tour, Grande Fourche, Chardonnet, Aiguille d'Argentière, La Verte, Le Drus and the Aiguilles Rouges.
