This is one of the simplest refuges to access, being just a few minutes walk from the Charamillon gondola at Le Tour. This refuge is for those that would like a secluded get away spot where they can explore the mountains but can still get back to civilization in a heartbeat.

The Durier refuge is tucked away between the Bionnassay ridge and the Dome de Miage.
Open from May to September, it's one of the main overnight huts used whilst attempting to summit Mont Blanc.
A beautiful traditional farmhouse that was restored in the late 90s. The interior is clean and simple but comfortable and is easily accessed from St Gervais or Les Houches.
This modern mountain hut is very comfortable in comparison to other refuges; it is open from mid-March to mid-September.
With 22 beds during guardian period this small refuge gives climbers and mountaineers great access to the Grandes Jorasses area and the spectacular peaks of that area.
This shelter is easily accessible via the Montenvers train link. Perched on a ledge along the Mer de Glace route, it has some spectacular views of the Mont Blanc Massif which can be enjoyed from their terrace.
This old farmstead is now used as a buvette or snack stop for hikers in summer and can be found above Coupeau in Les Houches.
The Alfred Wills refuge is a quiet, out of the way refuge for serious hikers. The refuge takes approximately four hours to access from Servoz.
