An old mountain farmstead buvette located above Les Houches
This old farmstead is now used as a buvette or snack stop for hikers in summer and can be found above Coupeau in Les Houches.
They serve simple food like charcuterie, local cheese platters and home made pastries. You can also enjoy a fondue here but you must book this in advance.
The refuge is run by its guardienne Agnes and it's open from mid June to mid October, except in extreme weather.
