Le Jeu de Paume Hotel

Peaceful luxury in a quiet mountain hamlet

Tucked away in the tranquil village of Le Lavancher, Le Jeu de Paume offers four-star comfort, authentic chalet charm and breathtaking views of the Chamonix peaks.

Surrounded by larch forests and perched at 1,250 metres, this charming, eco-conscious chalet hotel blends classic alpine character with modern comfort. You'll enjoy uninterrupted views of the Aiguilles de Chamonix and Col de Balme, which blush pink in the evening light.

Step inside to find cosy lounges, a welcoming bar, and warm, inviting interiors. The Rosebud bar and its adjoining lounges are perfect for cocktails, a game of chess or billiards, or simply relaxing after a day on the mountain. In winter, you're just five minutes from Grands Montets and fifteen from the Aiguille du Midi. In summer, walking trails begin from the door, leading you through forests and along glacial streams.

Whether you're here for adventure or calm, this chalet hotel offers a timeless escape with refined hospitality at its heart.

The pool

After a day on the slopes or exploring the mountain trails, unwind in the spa. Choose between the indoor or outdoor jacuzzi, the sauna, steam room or heated pool, and let the calm surroundings do the rest. A full menu of massages and beauty treatments is also available to help you fully relax and recharge.

The Bar

The residents' lounge bar offers a warm, inviting setting for a relaxing drink after a day in the mountains. Sink into a leather club chair or sofa, enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail, or wind down with a game of pool. For a perfect end to the evening, sip one of the bar’s fine malt whiskies by the fire.

The Restaurant

The hotel’s gastronomic restaurant, Le Rosebud, serves inventive and refined cuisine that has earned the chef recognition across the valley and features in several respected guidebooks. Each morning, you can enjoy an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet in the restaurant, or opt for a continental breakfast platter delivered to your room.
