The perfect choice for private ski lessons in the Chamonix Valley if you're staying in Vallorcine, Le Tour or Montroc, or would like to discover the beautiful Balme ski area at the top end of the valley.

Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to perfect your technique on the slopes, this renowned ski school with English-speaking instructors will help you achieve your goals in the Balme ski area and beyond!

ESF Vallorcine's fully qualified instructors teach both adults and children in private lessons; so whether you want one-to-one attention or prefer to share an instructor with a small group of friends and family these guys can help you out. Maximum group size is six.

Discover the skiing domain, build your technique, try some off-piste, ski touring, cross-country or telemark: your instructor will tailor your lesson to whatever you want to try. The ESF Vallorcine instructors are here to help you discover the most beautiful spots, whilst offering useful instruction and advice to improve your skiing level.

If you book a lesson as a small group of friends or family it is advised that all the members of the group have a similar level.

Where to meet

The meeting point for all lessons is in front of the ESF office at the base of the main telecabine in Vallorcine. 

Please arrive at least five minutes prior to the start of your lesson.

Upcoming Events

Chamonix hosts a wide range of sporting events throughout the year. The biggest ones include the Mont Blanc Marathon in June and the UTMB trail running race in August. In March, the Unlimited Festival brings ravers to the mountains while Musilac Mont Blanc takes place a month later. At the end of July, the Cosmo Jazz Festival hosts concerts all around the valley.
