Charming four-star chalet hotel with wellness spa and Mont Blanc views
Chalet Hรดtel Hermitage offers traditional alpine comfort just five minutes from Chamonix centre.
Since 1920, four generations of the Paccard family have welcomed guests with genuine warmth and a passion for mountain life, creating a cosy chalet atmosphere filled with natural wood, stone and woollen materials.
The hotel features 28 rooms and suites, all designed with love and offering breathtaking views of Mont Blanc. Just a five-minute walk from the city centre, itโs perfectly positioned for exploring the best of Chamonixโs outdoor activities.
Relax and rejuvenate in the Jardin Alpin, an outdoor wellness area dedicated to natureโs essential elements. The spa includes three saunas, a cedar wood jacuzzi, a natural pond, and a relaxation room โ all set against the stunning alpine backdrop. Whether youโre enjoying breakfast, tea time, or an aperitif in the lounge or your room, the hotel offers cosy spaces to unwind after a day of skiing, hiking, or board sports.
With individual ski lockers, room service, a bar and lounge, and a separate chalet for larger groups, Chalet Hรดtel Hermitage blends authentic mountain charm with modern luxury for an unforgettable stay in the heart of the Alps.
Peaceful residential area away from all the noise of the town. However, you are only a two minute walk from the Avenue Michel Croz where there are a number of bars and restaurants as well as the train station.
A cosy and welcoming salon with comfy leather sofas and armchairs and plump cushions. They offer a good range of spirits, wines, cocktails and beers for a small bar and the setting is intimate with good personal service.
The hotel restaurant only serves breakfast and is available from 07:30 - 10:30 for a supplement. However, there are light local speciality platters available at the hotel throughout the day, and afternoon tea cakes are served by the fire or in the garden after a hard day in the mountains. Packed lunches can be prepared on request and if you are a special group or conference booking half-board and catering may also be arranged.
As you come to the end of the dual carriage way that enters Chamonix, continue straight on over the first roundabout, past the exit for Mont Blanc Tunnel to Italy. Continue straight over the next two roundabouts. As you pass over the Montenvers train tracks (there will be a large car park on your right before the rail crossing), take the first right (a narrow passage just before the fly over bridge). Continue down this road for 150m and the hotel grounds are on your right.
Children are most welcome at the hotel and will love the play room and the garden.
