Ravanel & Co. Sport Shop is a highly recommended sports and ski rental outlet, a business founded by the current owner's grandfather in 1891. There is genuine knowledge and a passion for their products, as well as a commitment for high standards of boot hygiene and ski-servicing. The shop owns a specialised Winersteiger machine.
The perfect place to head for technical advice, particularly for trail-running and all things ski - including cross-country skiing. Their clothing lines have been well-chosen for the style-conscious, as has their equipment range for gear-lovers.
Brands-wise the shop mainly stocks Salomon skis and clothing, Montrail (a Canadian footwear company), La Sportiva, Asics and Hoka as well as several others. Also available in their General Store is one of Chamonix's best insole and boot-fitting services, available for most sports.
