A refuge offering impressive view of Mont Blanc and trails to Zermatt
The Argentière Refuge offers some of the most impressive views in the valley, including the north face of Mont Blanc and the Aiguille Verte Mont Dolent.
The refuge has 91 beds, plus a winter room. Half board or accommodation only are the options available. There are reduced prices for guides, youths, infants under 8 years old and CAF members.
This refuge is often used for trails between Argentière and Zermatt, also known as the Haute Route.
The refuge is open between late February and May for people who are ski touring, as well as June to September or October for hikers, climbers and mountaineers.
