Built in 1851, Vert Lodge blends history with modern comfort just a ten-minute walk from the centre of Chamonix.

The lodge offers a warm, informal base for your Chamonix adventure, right next to the Gaillands climbing wall. The lodge has twenty-two modern, en-suite bedrooms, including doubles, family rooms, shared dorms and Chamonix’s only capsule beds. Many rooms have balconies with breathtaking views of Mont Blanc.

The on-site bar and restaurant serve up worldly dishes, snacks and drinks with indoor and outdoor seating - including Chamonix’s largest beer garden in summer. There’s also a comfortable lounge with a projector for films or sport. Other perks include ski rental, 24-hour check-in, secure storage, and free breakfast, Wi-Fi and parking.

The Bar

All big sports matches can be watched on the plasma screen TV, as well as the latest ski/snowboard movies. When the floor isn't cleared for dancing you can play pool, free of charge, there are always a few regulars who will give you a game!

In April, Le Vert bar plays host to the unmissable Chamonix Unlimited festival, welcoming DJs from around the world. Here, you can enjoy top quality music and great cocktails after a day on the slopes.

The Restaurant

Le Vert restaurant is renowned for its excellent food, friendly service and welcoming atmosphere. With a bright, modern interior, it offers a relaxed setting that suits any occasion.

Start the day with a continental breakfast, refuel with shareable bar snacks after a day in the mountains, or settle in for a delicious dinner from the international menu.
