La Chaumiere Mountain Lodge
Scandinavian simplicity opposite the train stop for easy access to the whole valley
This mountain lodge enjoys a prime location just metres from the ski bus stop and local train station, with the town centre only a short walk away. Recently refurbished, it now features a smart, modern interior.
La Chaumiere’s 25 rooms are comfortable and practical, designed to accommodate you and all your equipment. Each room boasts fantastic views - either of Mont Blanc and the Glacier des Bossons or towards Brévent in the Aiguilles Rouges range.
The hotel offers spacious double and twin rooms, as well as three- and four-bed rooms ideal for families or small groups. Many rooms feature their own balconies. WiFi is available throughout the hotel.
The local bus stop, providing access to all ski areas, is just 50 metres from the hotel, as is the train station, which runs regular services between Saint-Gervais and Martigny.
The Bar
The relaxed bar area caters for everything from après-ski drinks to pre-dinner aperitifs and after-dinner digestifs. It’s a comfortable, welcoming space that also serves as a cosy lounge - perfect for unwinding after a day on the mountain. Share stories, browse the library of books and games, or simply sit back and soak up the views with a well-earned drink in hand.
The Restaurant
Excellent food is at the heart of the hotel’s concept. The menu features international favourites with a Savoyard twist, and the half board package includes a generous breakfast buffet and three-course dinners. During high season, guests can also enjoy à la carte options and takeaway lunches.
