You will find a takeaway bar and a self-service restaurant in this magnificent wooden chalet at the bottom of the Tabé chairlift. The ski schools will still be busy over the school holidays, but by Easter the afternoons and evenings are much lighter, as a result you get more piste time and bang for your buck. We say hooray to that!

OK, it's not guaranteed to be sunny and warm every day in Chamonix, but the chances are much higher at this time of year.
