Welcome to Chalet Tannuaz, a renovated family chalet in Les Houches, offering exceptional views of the surrounding nature. Perfect for a mountain getaway, it enjoys a quiet and privileged location close to hiking trails.
Chalet Tannuaz features four comfortable bedrooms and two bathrooms, making it ideal for families or groups of friends. The fully equipped kitchen makes cooking for everyone easy, while the peaceful setting - including a large garden and spacious terrace - offers a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the mountain views.
The chalet has a surface area of approximately 150m², with a generous garden of around 500m², perfect for families. It accommodates up to eight guests, with the possibility to add two small children if needed. Baby beds and high chairs are available on request.
Outdoor space includes a large garden and a spacious terrace with a big table - ideal for enjoying fresh air and panoramic mountain views.
The living room is located on the upper floor and features a cosy seating area, fireplace, TV, open-plan kitchen, and dining area, all with breathtaking mountain views. The dining table seats eight guests comfortably.
The fully equipped kitchen includes a stovetop, extractor hood, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, kettle, coffee machine, and more. A Nespresso machine is provided, with a few capsules on arrival.
All bed linen is provided, including sheets, towels, bath mats, and tea towels.

Basic toiletries such as shampoo, shower gel, toilet paper, towels, and bath mats are provided.
A spacious garage is available for storing ski equipment, mountain bikes, or other gear. You can comfortably park up to two vehicles in front of the property.
On the ground floor, there is a large laundry room with a washing machine, dryer, clothes rack, ironing facilities, and plenty of storage for non-essential luggage.
This property is managed by their team. After booking, you’ll receive an email with all the essential arrival information. A digital welcome booklet will be available inside the chalet with instructions, practical advice, and their personal recommendations.

The chalet is located in a quiet area of Les Houches, close to the town centre and numerous walking trails. It is just a few minutes’ drive from the Les Houches ski lift and about ten minutes by car to the centre of Chamonix.
Please note there are stairs inside the property.

Chamonix-based photographer and writer Teresa Kaufman has been hosting Discovery & Photo Walks since 2011 in the beautiful and energy-charged environment of the Chamonix Valley. Orignally designed for budding photographers visiting Mont Blanc, Teresa’s walks have started to appeal to a different kind of visitor - those looking for a digital detox from the internet and social networks in order to reconnect to nature in Chamonix’s fantastic landscapes.
In 2012, the photographer/author Teresa Kaufman hosted her first group of autistic adolescents on a Discovery & Photo Walk in the valley of Chamonix. She is now introducing a 5 Senses Walk for disabled visitors - visually impaired, hard of hearing or autistic youngsters.

Le Tour is a small, quaint little village at the far end of the Chamonix Valley in the Domaine de la Balme area. Take a stroll around the back streets to see some of the classically Alpine-style houses and the church dome. Look up to see the glaciers reaching down towards you, which are really impressive even in the height of summer.
