Welcome to Charlie our new video snow reporter & her first snow report of the season! We'll be updating you every week, so check back with us for more updates very soon.

Around 5-20cm has fallen on the valley floor with 30-40cm fresh snow around 1,500-2,000 metres. New snow fall and strong winds are expected this week.

The high mountain office reports that snowshoeing and ski touring above 1,500m may be OK but you may still find stones poking through in places. The Petit Balcons are a little frozen and icy in places so be careful. Avoid steep slopes where small slides may occur.
