For a weekly round up of the off piste skiing and climbing conditions in and around Chamonix, check out these great High Mountain Video Reports in association with Seven Twenty Productions and local expedition company Mountain World Limited.

In this week's video blog, Charlie talks about the continuation of the unpredictable weather in Chamonix this past week and the importance of checking the most up to date forecasts and avalanche bulletins. With big snow ahead, high mountain ski touring/mountaineering probably best avoided due to avalanche risk - play in the powder in the trees instead!

NB: Off piste skiing, climbing and mountaineering are dangerous. The opinions expressed in these videos are very much time and condition specific and the content is not intended in any way to be a substitute for hiring a mountain guide, undergoing professional mountaineering training and/or the individual's own backcountry decision making.
