For a regular round up of the off piste skiing and climbing conditions in and around Chamonix, check out these great High Mountain Video Reports in association with Seven Twenty Productions and local expedition company Mountain World Limited.

In this week's video blog, Charlie's been chilling in the sunshine, drinking coffee and doing a bit of rock climbing. The temperatures have soared over the past week or so meaning that there is significant avalanche risk (Level 4/5) in the mountains and staying down low is definitely the thing to be doing right now. All the snow that we've had this year has to go somewhere so make sure that you are aware of what's above you at all times.

Despite the fact we're all in flip flops, it looks like winter might be about to return with snow expected up high towards the end of the week. The crazy, ever changing season of 2012/2013 looks set to keep us on our toes right till the end.....

NB: Off piste skiing, climbing and mountaineering are dangerous. The opinions expressed in these videos are very much time and condition specific and the content is not intended in any way to be a substitute for hiring a mountain guide, undergoing professional mountaineering training and/or the individual's own backcountry decision making.
