Pretty chalet serving snacks and meals on the route down from the famous Vallée Blanche off-piste run, at the end of the Mer de Glace. Also open in summer for hikers.
Located at the foot of the Drus mountains, this small mountain chalet has truly outstanding views. They serve home-made food, such as their famous Joson turnover, salad with warm goat cheese from the Trolles farm, omelettes, tartines and desserts like the chocolate moelleux or croute with honey and cinnamon.
During the summer, you can even spend a night here in one of their four transparent tents suspended in the trees. Each "bulle" can sleep three people (two adults and a child) and the nightly tariff includes dinner, bed and breakfast and an unforgettable night under the stars. Advance reservation for an overnight stay is essential can be made by email or telephone.
Opening hours in winter are reliant on the snow conditions. Call ahead in advance to be sure.
