Le Tourchet beginner ski area
Small ski area for beginners with two drag lifts
This small ski area is a gently rolling snow field near the centre of Les Houches.
In addition to being open during the daytime, night skiing takes place here every Thursday evening during the French school holidays.
Directions
There is a bus stop on the main bus line into Les Houches which drops you at the ice rink. The Tourchet ski area lies just behind the ice rink. There is a small car park here, or you can walk to it quite easily from the centre of Les Houches.
When to come
Le Tourchet ski area is open from mid December to mid March, dependant on snow conditions. During the French school holidays it's open daily and outside of school holidays it's open afternoons only during the week and all day on weekends.
How to get passes
This small ski area is included in the lift pass which you can buy online in advance, or at the ticket offices on arrival.
