For a weekly round up of the off piste skiing and climbing conditions in and around Chamonix, check out these great High Mountain Video Reports in association with Seven Twenty Productions and local expedition company Mountain World Limited.

In this week's video blog, Charlie talks again about the unpredictable weather of late and looks ahead to fairer conditions this week. The significant recent avalanche risk saw Charlie heading further afield for some tree skiiing in Bruson, near Verbier and ski touring around Megeve. He's also been checking out which routes are coming into condition from a climbing perspective in Chamonix and advises skiers to be cautious and conservative with route choices in the high mountains.

Charlie's report is dedicated to his friend Martin Widen who sadly lost his life in an avalanche on the Brevent on the 8th of February 2013.

NB: Off piste skiing, climbing and mountaineering are dangerous. The opinions expressed in these videos are very much time and condition specific and the content is not intended in any way to be a substitute for hiring a mountain guide, undergoing professional mountaineering training and/or the individual's own backcountry decision making.
