L'Aiguille de Midi

Imprint
Updated

Jonathan is at the start of the Aiguille de Midi lift, the highest cable car in Europe. He talks about the recent snowfall, but how in spite of this there are a lot of open crevasses on the Vallee Blanche. Conditions are excellent throughout the Valley, however.

Jonathan Trigell is the author of the multi award winning book Boy A - recently dramatised by Channel 4 and now shortlisted as World Book Day’s Book To Talk About 2008 - and the first serious novel about winter sports: Cham. "Trigell’s ski-bum hedonism does for extreme winter sports what Alex Garland’s The Beach did for backpacking" - The Financial Times
