The valley quietens down as September starts
Well August has finally come to end here in Chamonix and all the big events of the summer are over. There is still plenty to do in the Mont Blanc region though and in many ways September is better than August as it's much quieter.

In March, the Unlimited Festival brings ravers to the mountains while Musilac Mont Blanc takes place a month later. At the end of July, the Cosmo Jazz Festival hosts concerts all around the valley.
