Chamonix Video Report: 13th November 2008
New lifts, new snow
Although the weather in town this week has been pretty dismal every time the rain stops and the clouds clear there is a new dusting of snow on the peaks which is causing great excitement in town.
The lifts in Chamonix do not open for a few weeks yet but there is skiing available over the border in Italy at the weekends. And apparently it’s great.
This weekend Chamonix has good weather forecast and in the run up to the new season there are second hand equipment sales on Saturday.
So there’s snow, the chance of picking up some new toys AND new lifts being built.
Best season ever??
