Superb conditions in Chamonix, one of the best week's skiing in memory
It has been a great week here in Chamonix. the skies cleared on Monday and we have had beautiful weather with blue skies and lots of sunshine. The pistes are in incredible condition and the skiing is as good as it has ever been. There is great skiing in the off piste although you will have to walk a bit to find fresh snow as most of the powder has been skied. If you want to try skiing at a lower altitude then the cross country trails are open and well groomed and this week there is a Nordic skiing event in town.
