Chamonix Freeride World Tour 2014
The 2014 Freeride World Tour arrived in Chamonix last week and after some fresh snow and a break in the clouds the action hit the Aguille Pourrie face up on Flegere on Saturday. If you missed the action here is a round-up of the best bits.
The Chamonix FWT stage is normally on the Pentes de L'Hotel but this year the event moved to the Aguille Pourrie face with its mix of steep sections and mellow playful sections.
Chamonix weekend warrior Sascha Hamm, representing the UK continued his FWT season well and landed himself in at 8th place.
Chamonix's favourite 'retired' rider Aurelien Ducroz made a wildcard appearance with a great run, despite tomahawking immediately out of the gates he pulled a beautiful back-flip on a very technical line.
