Good news snow fans as the powers that be are opening part of the Grands Montets & Les Houches ski areas again this weekend.

In Les Houches the Masonneuve chairlift and the Kandahar piste from 09:00 to 16:00.

At Grands Montets the Plan Joran gondola, the cable car to mid station, the Bochard gondola, the Marmottons & Tabé chairlifts will be running from 09:00 to 16:30. Pistes open are Bochard, Marmottons and access to the Tabé.

There's no more snow on the forecasts between now & the weekend, but the cold temperatures this week have kept the snow. Snow depths at GM are around 50cm at mid station level and 150cm at 3,275m. In Les Houches the snow base at Bellevue is around 60cm.
