The Big LePowSki tour hits Chamonix
The Dude is back in Chamonix for more skiing & partying
Get ready for a three day freeride extravanganza weekend when the Big LePowSki tour rolls into town with a packed out schedule of freeride courses, back country tours, photography workshops, avalanche safety tuition and outrageous partying.
You'll learn how to plan a ski tour to get the maximum fun and safety out of the terrain, guided tours and special freeride courses will teach you how to ride the powder like a pro with girls-only groups and sessions for everyone, from beginners to advanced riders.
Specially prepared search fields will give you the chance to practice using your avalanche rescue equipment, with professionals on hand to show you the ropes. Black Diamond freeride pros and experienced mountain guides will be giving courses such as assessing the avalanche risk, backcountry map reading, and how to check your gear before you head out into the mountains.
You'll also have the opportunity to try out the latest ski gear, touring skins and safety equipment – you might even win some special edition “The Dude” ski gear at one of the charity auctions that will be taking place. And then, of course, there's the apres-ski...
