Open in summer and winter, this charming restaurant serves all the traditional Savoyard dishes including farçon, fondues, omelettes, gratins and croutes.

Built in 1926, this small wooden chalet started as a "cremerie" (a place serving mainly dairy products, such as hot chocolate, butter tarts and other cakes) in the 1950s. The restaurant has been run by the same family ever since.

Reservations can be made from 10:00 onwards. Open from mid December to mid May (closed on Wednesday in winter) and from the end of June until mid September in summer.

Worth knowing

They do the best (in our opinion) croutes anywhere in the Chamonix Valley and they also have a great range of fondues to choose from.
