This was the 4th edition of the event which took place over the weekend of the 23rd/24th of March in Chamonix and Courmayeur and despite the weather, it was a fantastic success. The ladies toured up to the Refuge Bonatti in the Val Ferret in Italy learning a whole host of mountain safety skills and touring techniques to allow for effective travel in the backcountry environment - and all under the watchful eyes of some of Europe's top female mountain guides/instructors - Pia Palm, Ulrika Asp, Isabelle Santoire and Caroline George.
Mission WOW is an ideas exchange that organises outdoor events for women in France, Scotland and NZ. WOW works to facilitate building communities of women who share a common curiosity to discover their full potential. WOW aims to introduce challenges and inspire change in our lives while encouraging sustainable business and environmental developments worldwide.
