New Concept Pro Shop opens in Chamonix today

Concept Pro Shop is a new 250sqm flagship store and test centre in Chamonix which opened its doors today. We had a pre-opening look around on Saturday night and it's full of test skis from K2, Volkl, Blizzard, Line, Down Skis and the eco-friendly Idris Skis which are handmade in Chamonix. 

The shop features a state of the art ski rental area with boots provided by Tecnica and Dalbello, custom fitting via a heated boot dock and a mobile app to notify clients when skis are ready.  The 80sqm tuning centre, operated by Dr Dave, provides a full tune and repair service with a perfect finish every time from the Wintersteiger Discovery.

Clients can browse products from Marmot, BCA, Marker, Planks, Smith Optics and Cebe or sample a beer from local micro brasserie MBC, while the guides room provides a central meeting point for information on current weather and mountain conditions direct from Chamonix Meteo. 

Local production company, Seven Twenty are also based on site, producing and creating videos from their studio space downstairs.    

Check out the Wintersteiger Discovery in action as they take you through the machine (see video - right) or pop in to the store from Monday to Sunday from 8am-6pm.
