Watch World Cup Football in Chamonix

Here's a quick run down of where you can watch the FIFA World Cup in & around Chamonix..

Le Vert Hotel in Gaillands will be showing all the games on their HD Large screen and a big LCD. They will also be holding various events including 1 free Caipirinha at half time for the opening game between Brazil V Croatia Thursday 12th! Other events as the tournament progresses with DJ's, BBQ's and normal Vert Fun..

South Bar will be showing all the games on their 4 screens. They're open daily from 10am to 2am and will be showing the matches at 6pm, 9pm & midnight. They serve a range of burgers, salads, steak and other snacks.

The Cap Horn Restaurant has a screen & Les Caves have 1 screen also. You can get restaurant service ni both places. The Cap Horn is open every evening & Les Caves on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays.

The Jekyll & Hyde in Cham Sud have got 4 screens split over 3 floors and 2 Sky boxes. They're open from 5pm to 2am every day, showing all the games & the have a full menu available. Plus they'll be doing special world cup drinks and food promos - ask at the bar!

Monkey Bar in Cham Sud have 2 big screens and a new projector screen especially for the world cup - they even hope to show some matches outside! They're open from 10am to 2am on weekends and 11am to 2am on week days and serve food every day until 10pm. Plus they're having a world cup launch party from 6pm on 12th June & a lucky dip to win free beer for every game.

The Pub on Rue Dr Paccard in the centre of town has got one big projector screen and 2 swivelling TV's around the bar for you to watch the action on. They're open from 12-2 every day & if you ask the bar staff nicely they might organise a pizza delivery!

MBC on Route du Bouchet have got a couple of screens to watch on & they've got table service for food.

Bar'd Up are showing all the games live on 5 (or 6) screens, with €10 promo for 1.5 litre pitchers during matches.

The Kitsch Inn will be showing all the world cup football games on a big screen in the main bar. There is seating for at least 80 people to be able to watch the games round a table as well as plenty of standing space. They will be serving food non stop all day till 10pm. Plus every time England or France plays they will be giving away mini burgers, fish and chips or nachos to all viewers and a free shot if they score! If England plays France at any point it may inevitably get messy!

Munster Bar are re-opening on Thursday so you can watch there too. They'll have special drinks promotions for the world cup. Bar snacks including Pukka Pies, as well as their usual happy hours - 241 beers & wines from 4-7pm and 241 cocktails from 9 til 10pm.

The Vagabond are also going to be showing the matches with flags, banners, bunting & drink promotions for a full on England World Cup experience. To open on Saturday they've got the Thali pop up curries and bahjis, but you'll have to get in quick as it's first come first served.
