Classic Tour du Mont Blanc Trek, from Chamonix
11-night classic guided trek of the Mont Blanc Massif
Cloud 9 Adventure is a small independent adventure travel company run by Emma Jack. They offer expert guiding services in and around the Chamonix Valley and further afield.
The Tour du Mont Blanc is one of the classic trekking journeys in the world, covering 166km with 10,000m of ascent and descent.
Your route takes you over varied terrain including rugged cols, high alpine meadows, and conifer forests. You will see plenty of alpine flowers and are likely to see marmots, chamois, ibex and birds of prey.
As well as Mont Blanc, you should have fantastic views of many other famous peaks in the area: the Domes de Miage, the Aiguille Verte, the Aiguille du Chardonnet, the Grandes Jorasses, Mont Dolent, and the Grand Combin, amongst others.
There are a number of different options for the tour. The most common classic itinerary completes the circuit over ten days' trekking and uses cable cars and occasional transfers to offer the most comfortable version of this trek. See full itinerary below.
