Chamonix Vallée Classics festival

Relatively new classical music festival for everyone to enjoy

In only its second year, the festival is set to welcome many of the world's leading musicians to the Chamonix valley.

This year's schedule will include the celebrated Ébène Quartet, Angela Hewitt will play the Bach Goldberg Variations, and Boris Giltburg will play Chopin's 24 Preludes. Axelle Fanyo, celebrated French soprano, will close the festival accompanied by Kunal Lahiry (piano) with a magical evening of French song. 

Where and when

The concerts will be held at Église St Michél and Éspace Michel Croz 2 (EMC2).

Upcoming Events

Chamonix hosts a wide range of sporting events throughout the year. The biggest ones include the Mont Blanc Marathon in June and the UTMB trail running race in August. In March, the Unlimited Festival brings ravers to the mountains while Musilac Mont Blanc takes place a month later. At the end of July, the Cosmo Jazz Festival hosts concerts all around the valley.
