This ski hire and sports shop is located behind the Aiguille du Midi lift in Chamonix Sud and supplies not only skis, but mountaineering packs and safety equipment.
The shop is also a test centre, high performance work shop, BCA service centre, Marmot, K2 & Volkl pro shop. Alpine, freeride and backcountry rando style ski test centre and best of all Free Beer powered by MBC!
Are you sick of seeing the same layout in every ski shop? All the skis in one corner, clothes in another and rentals stuck in the middle? At Concept, each brand they work with has created their own space to highlight their products the best way they know how to. Their workshop has the latest in tuning technology and the best ski man in the business; Dr. Dave. Like a symphony orchestra conductor he can operate the Wintersteiger Discovery SS with surgeon precision to bring your skis back to life.
Anyone say après-ski? Skiing is a social sport and they wanted to bring these festivities to the shop. What a better way to do this than by having the busiest bar in town at the shop. They are thrilled to have the Micro Brasserie Chamonix (MBC) create what they like to call "the riders corner". Enjoying a cold one at the end of an epic session is what they are about.
Beer & Tune takes place every Tuesday from 17:30 to 19:30 bring them your skis to tune and enjoy the best beer in town from MBC while you wait. The rules are simple you need to check in your skis or board in the first half hour then just sit back have a beer while Dr. Dave operates.
