Chamonix Video Report : 14th March 2012

Soft conditions and good snow cover, very sunny weather and no queues

Updated

Now that the school holidays are over the slopes are a lot quieter and the queues for the lifts have died down.

The pistes are quite slushy especially lower down and the snow is very spring-like by the afternoons.

It looks like there may be some more snow on the horizon but the freezing level will have to drop if it is going to fall as anything other than rain in town.

If you fancy trying something a but different then why not take to the skies on a tandem paraglider? It's a great way to see the mountaains and a great experience.
