Compagnie du Mont Blanc the no.1 Most Profitable Ski Lift Operator of 2014
The Chamonix Valley lift operator with record figures from last winter
The Compagnie du Mont Blanc beat every other ski resort in France last year with a record 75 million euro turnover at the end of the 2014 winter season.
They showed a year on year increase of 6% in revenue and 2.5% increase in visitor numbers.
Some investment back into the valley is already taking place - including a new high speed gondola at Grands Montets and improvements to the Aiguille du Midi, both of which should be ready for the coming winter.
Over the next 5 years there will be in the region of 477 million euros spent upgrading the Chamonix ski area and lifts.
