This family-run establishment serves craft coffees and home baked goods and treats in a casual, friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

Inspired by a love of the Wyoming mountains mixed with the need for adventure that only Chamonix can offer, Bighorn Bistro offers a unique experience to their visitors. The cosy and rustic lodge-style interior offers a warm welcome for mountaineers and skiers, locals and tourists alike, seeking sustenance. Conveniently located in the heart of Chamonix, it's just a few minutes walk from the Aiguille du Midi cable car.

Well-established on the Chamonix restaurant and bar scene, Bighorn is also the place to go for your caffeine fix in Chamonix Sud, now serving Italian Lavazza coffee. As with all things Bighorn, the focus is on quality, homemade produce with a friendly service and relaxed atmosphere. So, drop by for a catch up with friends and sink into their cosy sofa corner whilst sipping on a flat white or one of their craft coffee creations.

If you fancy treating yourself to something sweet with your coffee, you'll find a great alternative to the usual French pastries here, as uniquely they have their own bakery serving up delicious homemade treats, with a selection that changes daily.

Once you're settled in you may find it hard to leave, but that's not a problem as you could stay for lunch at the restaurant or even end up sampling their craft beers and cocktails at the bar until late into the evening. You can find out what beers they have on draught at any point by visiting their profile on the Untappd app.

The café, bar and restaurant are currently open Tuesday to Saturday from 15:00 to 22:30. On Sundays, they offer brunch to take away from 10:30 to 14:30 with American specialties including buttermilk pancakes and freshly baked cinnamon rolls.
