Le Panier des Quatre Saisons

French restaurant offering seasonal regional cuisine tucked away in a small side street

Location
Chamonix

Off the main pedestrian area in Chamonix, chef Thierry and his partner Maureen offer a creative twist on traditional cuisine using the best of seasonal produce.

As the name of the restaurant suggests, their menu is inspired by the different seasons and features many flavours from the local region. Specialities include a Beaufort creme brulée, roasted filet of venison with polenta and parmesan and a whole oven baked Vacherin cheese served with potatoes and cured meats. They also offer a good selection of fish dishes, such as grilled sea bass with mushroom risotto and a daily fish special. Sample some of the region's wines along with your meal for a real flavour of the Haute Savoie.

Only open in the evening, you can dine here every day except Tuesday, from 19:00. During peak school holiday periods, they are open every day and reservations at any time are strongly recommended.
