Le Castel Restaurant

Restaurant with a large terrace on the green in Les Praz with lunch, dinner and à la carte menus

Location
Chamonix

This restaurant is part of Hotel Le Castel and is open to non-residents for lunch and dinner.

Using simple, quality produce, much of which is sourced locally, the menu offers bistrot style dishes as well as Savoyarde specialities. The lunchtime menu is a starter and main or main and dessert and there are a couple of three course menus available in the evening in addition to the à la carte choices.

This restaurant enjoys an enviable location near the base of the Flégère gondola, making it the ideal stop off for a coffee enroute to the slopes, or a spot of après-ski at the end of the day on their fabulous heated terrace. The views from here are truly outstanding so it's well worth a stop off to enjoy one of their sharing platters over a beer or a vin chaud.
