La Cascade du Dard Restaurant

Small chalet serving fresh homemade food set in a spectacular location

Location
Chamonix

This charming old stone building is located next to a dramatic waterfall. They serve a simple menu on a pretty flower-filled terrace.

The restaurant is a short but fairly steep hike up from Chamonix town, across the river and through the forest on the Mont Blanc side of the valley.

Worth the effort for the waterfall alone, being able to recharge your energy levels with a drink and a bite to eat is a welcome bonus. Friendly service and good food make this a popular off-the-beaten-track lunch spot.

Open for lunch every day from June to September, and on Tuesday evenings in July and August.
