Just a hop across the road from the front of the main Chamonix train station, this restaurant is a great spot to sit outside in the sunshine and watch the world go by while you're tucking into their hearty menu of pub favourites.
There's a bit of something for everyone here; popular with locals, tourists and day-trippers alike, you'll have to get in early to grab a table, especially when the sun is out.
Their menu proposes a selection of pub favourites, such as burgers, sandwiches and paninis, wedges, chips and hearty salads. They also serve an extensive choice for breakfast including a 'Full English'. It's simple but tasty fare and reasonably priced for its central location and cracking views of the mountains.
This is a really popular place to hang out after a day on the mountain and you will find crowds of skiers, mountaineers, hikers and bikers swapping stories of the days activities over a chilled beer and a snack. They also have DJs playing from time to time, either at après or later in the evening, so things can get pretty lively.
