This restaurant is the perfect spot for refuelling on the slopes with a big plate of cheesy carbs and a glass of local wine.
Located at the foot of the Aiguillette des Posettes at Le Tour, this charming mountain restaurant is very popular at lunchtime, due in part to its fantastic sunny terrace with views the length of the valley. Reserving a table in advance is pretty much essential here to avoid having to wait to be seated.
Dishes are all typical mountain fare - cheesy croutes, steak and chips, potato rosti, goat cheese salad, etc but they are very well done and not over-priced. If you can't get a table for lunch or if you just fancy a drink stop, then call back later when they are a bit quieter and enjoy the sweeping views with a glass of their very good vin chaud.
The restaurant is open daily for lunch, snacks and drinks throughout the winter and summer seasons. Access is via the Charamillon gondola and then you can ski, snowshoe or hike your way across to the Posettes sector.
