Sad news for anyone hoping to see Primal Scream at this years Music en Stock festival down in Cluses, as singer Bobby Gillespie has been injured and the band have had to cancel the rest of their summer tour.

After a fall on stage last week in Switzerland, Gillespie badly injured his back and has been flown home to recuperate in the UK, apparently for at least 2 months.

The Music en Stock organisers said today in a statement that they are working hard to find a replacement for the band, who were due to play on Saturday 2nd July.

The 16th edition of the festival takes place from 30th June to 2nd July. You can find the full line up and check in for an announcement once a replacement band has been found on their website.
