Marathon du Mont-Blanc Starts Tomorrow
The Marathon Salon opens on Thursday in Place du Mont-Blanc
The first signs of the Mont Blanc Marathon were seen a few months ago as runners took to the trails around Chamonix in training and preparation for the event.
Now, we can see the structures going up in Place du Mont-Blanc that will house the Marathon Salon for the next few days. 7000 runners and around 14000 supporters are expected to descend on Chamonix in the next day or so. The race expo that showcases sports manufacturers and the different trail races found throughout the world will open their doors on the Place du Mont-Blanc on June 25th, 26th & 27th 2015. Free entrance for everyone, the expo provides an area to purchase last minute items for the race and also to discover the latest in the summer trail running trends.
The Salon will be open from 10:00 until 20:00 on Thursday and Friday and then on Saturday from 08:00 to 20:00.

From 6:00 pm : Vertical KM dinner in the Sports Complex (free for KMV runners)
8:30 pm : Awards ceremony for the Vertical KM
