This luxury boutique hotel is situated right in the heart of Chamonix, and dates back to 1840. It has been painstakingly restored in recent years, and the hotel is once again at the forefront of luxury Alpine tourism in the heart of the resort.

The Grand Hotel des Alpes offers 30 finely refurbished rooms in the circular tower offering views of either the Mont Blanc or Brevent. Double rooms and suites are both available, equipped with all the conveniences to help you unwind, including TV, DVD player, and free WiFi access.

Upon your arrival you will be greeted in the elegant terraced lounge and bar with views of Mont Blanc, where you may relax in the warmth of their real log fire, or peruse the library which is rich in antique literature.

Every morning in the breakfast room a rich buffet awaits all guests, which includes eggs cooked to order in just about anyway you can imagine, and a selection of home-made marmalade, jams, and patisseries. You can enjoy your meal outside on the terrace by the river, taking in the stunning mountain views.

The relaxation centre, for those who wish to wind down in style, offers a wave swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and a relaxation room with a revitalising salt wall. They also offer a personalised masseuse service.

The hotel is located within walking distance of the Aiguille du Midi and the Mer de Glace train, which are both open year round.

To stay at the Mont-Blanc is to treat yourself to a valley institution right in the center of town. Since 1849, this legendary hotel has welcomed a cosmopolitan clientele from the four corners of the globe to discover Europe's highest peak.

Ideally located just off the main street, the Chamonix building reveals its white façade and blue shutters. From the rooms and suites, you can contemplate the spectacle of the highest peaks. On one side, the Drus rise behind a forest of fir trees, on the other, the imposing Bossons glacier at the foot of Mont-Blanc.

Inside, you'll rediscover the elegance of the palaces that were built in Chamonix in the early 19th century, when the resort welcomed a wealthy international clientele who came here to discover the first winter sports vacations. The 5-star hotel with 41 rooms and suites has been completely renovated by interior designer Sybille de Margerie, inspired by nature and the environment. The rooms face a magnificent mountain panorama, offering space, luxury and comfort. Every morning, the hotel offers the pleasure of waking up facing the most beautiful of peaks, Mont Blanc. The lucky ones can enjoy the eternal spectacle of the mountain from one of the many balconies that adorn the façade.

This is undoubtedly one of the finest hotels in the Chamonix Valley. Offering four types of accommodation; from traditional and refined at the Hotel Albert Premier, the authentic but alternative Chalet Soli and Chalet Grepon to the exceptional and chic at The Farmhouse; without forgetting the Suite Martine a duplex of 150 m² facing the Mont-Blanc range; all tastes of luxury are catered for.

The hotel has 21 newly and tastefully decorated, spacious rooms in a beautiful traditional style building in the heart of Chamonix. Set in substantial grounds, the windows open out onto the Mont Blanc range, the park and the vegetable garden.

The Farmhouse, constructed from three displaced old-mountain barns, has 12 bedrooms and sits on the edge of the hotel grounds. It has been decorated throughout with wood in keeping with tradition, but has many modern touches creating an atmosphere of cosy seclusion. Together with the open fire, whirlpool spa bath and a balcony that boast views of both the Aiguilles Rouges and Mont Blanc, The Farmhouse will ensure that your stay is everything that you dreamt it would be.

Chalet Grepon is the ideal retreat for families with a spacious double room and a smaller bunk-bed room. This sleek modern alpine accommodation offers a snow-white interior with stylish furnishings including a comfortable sofas and a wood-burning stove in the living area. The chalet has a TV and DVD player to keep you entertained on an evening in and there is also a mini-bar and safe.

Chalet Soli is a small beautifully appointed chalet sleeping 4–6 people in two double rooms and a mezzanine with two single beds. It has a sauna and a living room with high vaulted ceilings creating an airy but welcoming environment for a family or a small group of friends.

The Suite Martine is a large duplex of 150m², ideally composed to welcome a family up to 6 people,in a warm atmosphere with white-washed wood throughout.

The Suite Blaitiere provides 90m² of luxurious space perfect for a family for 4, consisting of a master bedroom with a luxury en-suite bathroom and a smaller bedroom with a walk-in shower, and a communal lounge with fire, Jacuzzi bath, private steam room and a flat screen TV with a selection of online films to enjoy.
