A thirty year old man from Chamonix has died in fall on the Aiguille Verte, near Argentiere.

The local man was skiing the Whymper Couloir yesterday on the Aiguille Verte when he fell several hundred metres, sadly the young man died in the accident.
The Whymper couloir is an off-piste descent only accessible by mountaineering, the descent features very steep sections up to 50°.

Our thoughts go out the man's friends and family.
