International mobile phone operator Transatel have just launched a new prepaid card aimed at seasonal workers who are living in France, LeFrenchMobile.

The new card aims to provide a low cost alternative to either French or English mainstream providers by charging less for calls back to the UK and by making calls to other people on the same network even cheaper. The website and all customer services are in English and you can order your card online and have it delivered to your UK address before you leave.

You can choose between a Student Pack for 24€ or LeFrenchTraveller pack for 20€, each of which offers various discounted rates on local and international calls. See LeFrenchMobile.com for more details.

So, no excuse for not calling your mum at least once a week now then!
