Local charity depot fire

Featured in News & Reviews Author Chris Richard, Site Editor Updated

Over the weekend a depot building storing charity goods caught fire completely destroying the donated goods.

The Scouts de Cluses is a local charity based in Cluses whose actions help those in need in Haiti, Bosnia and Kosovo to name a few.
Known by locals as being a place to donate unwanted gear from clothing to furniture and also a great place to pick up some bargains during a massive month-long flea market every October.

The depot caught fire in the early hours of Sunday morning and the fire service managed to stop the fire spreading to other buildings, but unfortunately the fire destroyed all of the goods stored in the 50 square metre store.
