Kylie and her toyboy lover celebrate New Year in Chamonix!
Following in the celeb footsteps of the likes of Charlotte Church and err...S Club 7, diminutive Aussie pop star and object of many a male desire Kylie Minogue is the latest star to visit Chamonix, choosing to see in the New Year in the resort with her boyfriend.
Staying in a £10,000 per week chalet, her 30 year old Spanish toy boy Andres Velencoso Segura probably can't believe how lucky, lucky, lucky he is as Kylie (a keen snowboarder, by all accounts) even paid for an instructor to get her novice blokey up and running on the slopes of Chamonix. However, it would seem maybe Andres wasn't quite so lucky, lucky, lucky as the pair were spotted in a local Doctors in Argentiere...
Celebrating New Year's Eve in the town, the couple apparently enjoyed a meal out at La Cabane in Les Praz before dancing the night away (and smooching like loved up teenagers, as they say) at No Escape.
Apparently Kylie likes the fact that once she's kitted out in her boarding gear and goggles no-one really recognises her. So here's our Chamonet tip for spotting Miss Minogue on the slopes - look out for a minute lady in white, riding an even more minute snowboard, probably a few hundred metres in front of a classically chisel-faced young 6ft 4" Spanish bloke who's struggling to link his turns! However, it seems that everyone who did see through her disguise and said hello, found her to be charming, lovely and really down to earth. You've gotta love Kylie!

It seems Kylie wasn't the only star out on the slopes of Cham this festive period, with Penelope Cruz being spotted as well as footy star Patrick Vieira and his wife. It would seem Penelope was taking cross country ski lessons in the Bois du Bouchet over the New Year period and even French politician Segolene Royal (who lost the presidential election to Sarkozy) was spotted doing a bit of cross country skiing!
