After news of air travel now being permitted for certain flights across Europe the major Alpine gateways have now opened up to start flying passengers home.

A dozen flights took off from Geneva airport yesterday. Few flights are now confirmed but expected to pick up slowly. It is likely to take at least three days for the situation to return to normal.

Anyone looking to travel, please contact your airline, tour operator or travel agent to obtain confirmation for your flight before travelling to the airport.
