Adventure Film Festival this weekend
The 2nd annual Adventure Film Festival will be taking place this weekend, August 20th - 22nd, at the Salle du Bicentenaire, Chamonix-Mont Blanc, starting each night at 19:00.
In support of cinema in Chamonix, Chamonet.com has profiled several AFF short films to watch out for during the festival, such as the quirky, wonderful short about creating the world you want to live in, with BETTER BONES AND GARDENS; and ASCENDING THE GIANTS, a gorgeous film about scaling trees in Oregon; as well as GUM FOR MY BOAT, an inspiring tale about a surf club in Bangladesh.
But that's just for starters. The festival is full of interesting films that highlight adventure and an environmental conscientiousness - and are family friendly - so check out the programme and come join the fun this weekend!
