Organ Music Festival

A free concert of organ music at the Church of St Michel

featured in Events Calendar Updated

Every summer, the Festival des Hours d'orgue is the main event of the Chamoniarde music season. The year 2019 will be the 24th year of this festival.

"In 1992 a Grenoble organ builder, Michel Giroud, built the splendid organ of 25 pipes that currently occupies the grandstand of the church of St. Michel, with its two buffets surrounding the famous stained glass window overlooking the church square. This beautiful realisation was made possible thanks to the help of the municipality and, through the l'Association des Amis de l'Orgue, to that of many Chamoniards and friends of the Valley."

All concerts are at 17:00, and entry is free.
